At Your Service

It all begins with a quilt top, and I’m here to help you finish your masterpiece. I can consult in quilting designs and thread color to perfectly complement your piecing. I can even trim your quilt and machine bind it.

If you’re sending me a quilt, please fill out the submission form on this page. I will reach out shortly with my full mailing address, any questions I have for you, and an estimated turnaround time (typically 2 weeks or less).

For any other inquiries, use the Contact Me button at the top of the page.

Longarm Quilting Prices

Edge-to-edge quilting: $0.03 per square inch
Raw edge applique/mixed materials: $0.06 per square inch
Custom quilting (can be a combination of computerized, free motion, and ruler work): $0.10 per square inch & up

Thread fee: $5/quilt

Note, if your quilt top is not prepped well for longarming according to the instructions below, you may see a $40 charge for the additional time I need to spend.

Batting

You can either provide your own batting or purchase 80/20 blend batting from me at $14/yard.

Binding

Machine binding to the back and front is $0.35 per linear inch. See pictures below of bindings I’ve completed.

In most cases, I can use the trimmings from the backing fabric as the binding. If you select this option, $45 will be added for me to prep the binding strips. Unless you tell me otherwise, I cut 2.5” wide binding strips from cotton or 2” wide strips from Cuddle/minky fabric.

Prepping Your Fabrics

  • Press your quilt top and trim loose threads on the front and back.

  • Press your backing with any seams pressed open.

  • Batting and backing must be at least 4 inches larger than the quilt top on all sides. (make the backing a bit larger if you want me to use the backing scraps for binding)

  • If there is directionality to your top or backing, pin a note to help me orient them correctly.

  • If sending binding fabric, press seams open on binding strips, roll up, and secure with a rubber band.

  • For shipping, put all fabrics in a waterproof bag (e.g. garbage bag or similar) to protect them during transit.
